Online sale of individual concert tickets starts February 2nd
Detroit, Feb. 2, 2018 – Chene Park Detroit’s Wednesday Jazzy Nights concert series is back!
Music enthusiasts can now purchase tickets for an unmatched summer concert series in “The D.” On Friday, February 2 at 12pmET, tickets for individual shows during Chene Park Detroit’s 2018 Jazzy Nights concert series will be on sale exclusively at www.ticketmaster.com. The venue’s box office will open in Spring 2018.
Boasting an all-star lineup of talent, the Wednesday Jazzy Nights series kicks off June 6 and runs through August 29, featuring headliners such as Will Downing, David Sanborn, Jody Watley, Branford Marsalis, Norman Brown, Boney James, Kamasi Washington, Peabo Bryson, Damien Escobar, Jean-Luc Ponty, Stokely and Rachelle Ferrell. The series also showcases national and local opening acts including Mark Mixx & Tha Street Jazz Cartel, Tim Bowman, Mike Phillips, Bobby Caldwell, Sean Blackman, Thornetta Davis, 313 The Live Experience, Vivian Green and Lin Rountree. Enthusiasts can purchase series tickets, buying 12 shows for the price of 11 at $268*.
Chene Park Personal Seat Licenses (PSL) are on sale. A great option for music lovers, a PSL allows license holders to select and secure their preferred seats for all 2018 Chene Park shows.
With a PSL purchase, selected seat(s) will be held under the name of the license holder up to three weeks before the show. If the license holder does not purchase the seat(s), those tickets will be released for sale to the general public. The cost of each PSL starts at $250.
